Methods Of Sending Case Work To DPI
To keep the balance of shipping cost, the dentist pays for the case to be shipped to us and we pay for the shipping of the case back to the dentist.
UPS
- We recommend the use of UPS for two reasons. Cases are signed out when they leave your office. Then are signed in when we receive them, which eliminates lost or misplaced cases. Thus, causing needless trauma on you and most important, the patient.
- Time factor: UPS is one day delivery from all Florida cities to us. Outside of Florida, we like to use UPS 2nd day air. This will ensure that your cases are given the same attention that all the others receive. UPS delivers to us at 5:30pm.
- You can have a UPS service in your office which will pick up on a daily basis. In order to set up this service they have a 1-800 number you can call that is in your phone directory. The number will be different as every state varies.
DHL
- Guaranteed overnight or two day delivery.
- DHL delivers to us around 1:00pm.

US MAIL
- When using US Mail, Priority Mail can take up to 5-6 days; this is not a very consistent way of shipping. We have found that this way can change your shipping date.
Packing Procedures
We cannot express ourselves enough on proper packing of cases. Your patients' models are all we have to work with. It is very important that you work with us on these steps.
To help eliminate breakage...Please:
- Cushion the inside of the box
- Wrap wax bites carefully
- Separate all articulators or cushion them properly
- Wrap all models and small items separately (dies, bites, etc.) in little plastic containers.
- Pack all models so that they face away from each other.
- Stuff box with more packing material if anything rattles. *We use bubble wrap. It seems to work the best.*
